How to go live on Rumble from your iPhone

Quick answer

On rumble.com, open your account's Static Stream Key page and create a key. In Swae, tap SET UP, pick Rumble, and paste the Stream URL and the Stream Key. Tap Done, then GO LIVE. A static key never changes, so you only copy it once. For Rumble chat, rants and your viewer count in Swae, add Rumble's Live Stream API URL too.

What you need

Go live on Rumble, step by step

  1. Open the Static Stream Key page. On rumble.com, open your account's Static Stream Key page. In Swae, Open Rumble's Static Stream Key page takes you there.
  2. Create a key. Choose Create new static stream key. Rumble shows a Stream URL and a Stream Key.
  3. Set up Rumble in Swae. On the camera, tap SET UP and pick Rumble. Copy the Stream URL and the Stream Key into the boxes.
  4. Choose how you'll hold your phone. Upright is easy to hold and fills phone screens; sideways fills Rumble's player on computers and TVs.
  5. Tap Done. Or Practice first to try it with nothing going out.
  6. Go live. Tap GO LIVE, check the review, and tap GO LIVE again.

Add Rumble chat, rants and viewers

Rumble has no sign-in for apps, so Swae reads your chat through Rumble's Live Stream API instead. It's optional. With it, Rumble chat, rants, follows, subscriptions and your viewer count show in Swae, a few seconds behind, and Rumble chat can go on your stream.

  1. Copy your Live Stream API URL from Rumble's Live Stream API page.
  2. Paste it into Swae: Settings › Accounts › Rumble › Edit stream key & API URL, under Live Stream API URL. Add your Rumble username too, so your own messages are marked as yours.

Keep the API URL private. Anyone with it can read your channel's live data. Swae keeps it in the Keychain, and you can reset it on Rumble at any time. The same goes for your stream key.

Settings that work on Rumble

Rumble's recommended settings take up to 8,000 kbps, with 4,000 to 6,000 kbps for 1080p at 60 fps. Leave Swae's quality on Automatic: it lowers the bitrate when your network slows and raises it again. 1080p at 30 fps suits most streams.

Rumble and other platforms at once

Rumble says you can stream there while restreaming to other platforms. Add Rumble and, say, YouTube or Kick before you go live, and they start together. (How to multistream.) On a Rumble chip in the review, Chat only keeps Rumble's chat without streaming there.
