How to multistream from your iPhone to Twitch, Kick and YouTube at once

Quick answer
Install Swae and connect your first platform. Tap GO LIVE, and in the review tap Add a place for each other platform: sign in to Twitch and Kick, paste YouTube's stream key. Then tap GO LIVE. They all go live at once, with the same picture. Straight from your phone it's free, but your phone uploads once per platform. Through Swae Relay, it uploads once in total.
Two ways to multistream
| From your phone | Through Swae Relay | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | $9.99 a month, or 5 hours free |
| Upload | One stream for each platform | One stream, for all of them |
| Signal drops | Every platform drops | Viewers see your Reconnecting screen |
| Platforms | As many as your upload carries | Up to 6 |
On home Wi‑Fi with a fast upload, streaming from the phone is all you need. On cellular, or with three or more platforms, the relay is what keeps every stream sharp: your phone only has to carry one.
Set it up
- Set up your first platform. Open Swae, tap SET UP on the camera, and pick a platform. For Twitch or Kick, sign in; for YouTube, paste your stream key. Tap Done.
- Open the review. Tap GO LIVE. The Going live review opens; nothing goes out yet.
- Add the others. Under Streaming to, tap Add a place and connect the next platform. Ones you've signed in to before add in a tap. Swae shows the upload you'll need for all of them.
- Choose the route. From your phone is free and shares your connection between the platforms. Through Swae Relay sends one upload for all of them.
- Set the titles. Use one title everywhere, or a separate Twitch and Kick title, and pick the categories. YouTube takes its title from YouTube Studio.
- Go live. Tap GO LIVE. After the countdown you're live on every platform at once.
Want a platform's chat, but not the stream? On a Twitch, Kick or Rumble chip in the review, choose Chat only, or Off for this stream to skip it this time.
One chat for every platform
While you're live, Swae shows you Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Rumble chat together in one list, each message with its platform's icon. On the stream, the Chat layer can show all of them or just one: open the layer and choose whose chat it shows. (Adding chat and alerts.)
The platforms' rules
- Twitch allows streaming elsewhere at the same time (simulcasting), unless you have an exclusive contract. Twitch viewers must get a stream at least as good as the other platforms', you can't send them elsewhere, and your Twitch stream can't show other platforms' activity, like a merged chat. So when Twitch is one of your places, set the Chat layer to Twitch and turn off the other platforms' alerts. A merged chat just for you, on your screen, is fine.
- Kick Partners turn on a multistreaming switch when also live on Twitch or YouTube, and Kick pays half for that session.
- Rumble lets you stream there while restreaming to other platforms.
- TikTok and Instagram decide who can go live: TikTok asks for 18 and over and 1,000 followers, and Instagram's Live Producer for a public account with 1,000 followers and a new stream key each time.
Upright or sideways
Every platform gets the same picture. Upright fills a phone screen and suits IRL, since most viewers watch on their phones; sideways fills a computer or TV. On YouTube, an upright stream plays like a Short on phones. TikTok and Instagram take upright streams only, so they can't be added to a sideways stream.
Questions
How many platforms can I stream to at once?
From your phone, as many as your upload can carry: Swae shows what you'll need as you add them. Through Swae Relay, up to 6.
Can I add a platform while I'm live?
No. Add every platform before you go live; they all start together.
Do all platforms get the same overlays?
Yes. Your layers are part of the picture, so every platform sees the same stream. That's why, with Twitch among them, the Chat layer should show Twitch's chat alone.
Is multistreaming allowed on Twitch?
Yes, for everyone without an exclusive contract, as long as Twitch viewers get a stream as good as anywhere else and your Twitch stream doesn't show other platforms' chat or activity.
Is multistreaming free?
From your phone, yes. Swae Relay, which sends one upload to every platform, is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year in the US, or 10 hours for $3.49, with 5 hours free to try.
